Mary & Jay were wed at Oakland Country Club and the day had no shortage of fun, love and color! We still can't get over Mary's stunning bouquet of wildflowers - and we love the unique thistle flowers! Can you believe all the flowers were done by her and her friends!? All of the invitations, RSVP cards & place cards were made lovingly by her sister. Mary's tea-length vintage chic wedding gown was paired perfectly with a vintage birdcage veil that was later replaced with a feather fascinator. Her colors of teal, coral, ivory, magenta, icy pink, silver, gold and dark gray seem like A LOT - yet somehow they blended so beautifully and created a stunning spring color palette.
Their cake was simple and elegant and even more delicious - almond cake with chocolate cream AND chocolate cake with heath bar filling! They didn't stop there though, check out all their fantastic looking desserts. An entire buffet table filled with sugary delicacies (their guests did not hesitate to sample!) The true treat was on the dance floor however, this couple knows how to have a good time and host a great party :) Complete with traditional Indian dancing, a Flashdance moment and every guest working up a sweat, their reception was the perfect end to a wonderful wedding.
Thank you so much to the lovely couple for asking us to shoot your wedding day and congratulations again to Mary & Jay! Don't forget to watch their trailer by Vortex Cinema Production, you don't want to miss it!
